Ladies and Gentlemen,
It it my pleasure to announce the 4 nominees that I believe are missing from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The week after the Super Bowl, and for the next 3 weeks after, I will make cases for the following 4 musical acts:
The Monkees- Respected by greats like the Beatles yet undermined by the industry that birthed them. Their long lasting popularity shows that they belong
Kool & The Gang- The one nominee on this list that is hard to understand why they aren't already in. Survivors of 3 different genre changes, creating lasting music in each one.
The Go-Go's- Not only a trend setter in the mere fact they were women, but in the American form of new wave music. They were done in by the usual sex and drugs.
Phil Collins (solo artist)- His songs defined and mean a lot to generation. In fact, his biggest problem and the reason he isn't in is that he became too popular.
Now if this feature is successful, I will enter in more bands maybe next year or later this year if I see fit. I did have some great nominees suggested to me by others that will be interesting to note
What do you think?

Conference Championship Picks and What's next
So, let me start with what's next. If you read my Facebook or Twitter, you probably know. I have talked about many things on this blog, but after the Super Bowl, I delve into a fresh subject.
I will state cases for 4 candidates to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. These are candidates that are not in (one is in but with a group hint hint). These are also eligible candidates as of this year. So that will be a weekly thing coming.
Now for picks.
Rams @ Saints: The Rams secondary has been a weakness ever since Aqib Talib was hurt. Drew Brees and the Saints should be able to to control the game with both running and passing. Give me New Orleans.
Victory: Saints
Patriots @ Chiefs: What do I do? Do I go with the Patriots, who seem to be acting like they have a bee in their collective bonnets this week? Despite my respect for them, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them win (and I'm numb to it now so whatever), this Pats team has not been good on the road all season. I will go with the Chiefs but would not be surprised at either winning
Victory: Chiefs
There we go.

Divisional Round Picks:
Last week, I went 3-1 with my picks. Only the Bears failed me. So now we move on to the divisional round. The higher seeds come into play. Will all of them come out? Let's find out.
Colts @Chiefs: Kansas City will be nervous as the Chiefs have a history of losing in the playoffs, especially at home. Plus they have The Walrus AKA Dr. Robotnik AKA Andy Reid who has come up short in the playoffs. I want to pick the Colts so badly, but at the end of the day,I think the Chiefs get it done. Close but they will
Victory: Chiefs
Cowboys @ Rams: This game to me comes down to one single factor. Can the Rams stop Ezekiel Elliot on the ground? Because I know that Dallas can slow down the Rams. I've seen them do it to the Saints and we saw it against Seattle. So this game comes down to Aaron Donald and crew stopping Zeke. I think they will and the Rams will win close
Victory: Rams
Chargers @ Patriots: Do we know who the real Patriots are? We know that they play very well at home. However, this Chargers team plays well on the road. And for Phillip Rivers, it may well be his last best chance to reach the Super Bowl. He knows it and I think he gets it done. I think the Chargers are just too well equipped and balanced.
Victory: Chargers
Eagles @ Saints: Gimme the Saints all the way. I think the Foles magic ends here. It may be close at halftime, but I think eventually the Saints get it together and pull away.

Wild Card Picks
I was considering not doing this one but I would be annoyed at myself for not going all the way (hehe). So I know it's late in the day, but I'm getting them in. I'm not going to do point spreads for the playoffs. Because at the end of the day, all the motivation is there for all the teams so there is less really to affect it outside of injury. So here we go.
Colts @ Texans: I was not impressed with the Texans defense when they went up against the Jets a couple of weeks ago. The Colts OL has been one of the biggest improvements in the NFL this year which should help negate the Texans pass rush. Give me the experienced Andrew Luck on the road against the first timer DeShaun Watson
Victory: Colts
Seahawks @ Cowboys: This one is very tough. The Seahawks have the experience in the playoffs but the Cowboys have HFA. I think Dallas wins close. Dallas is 7-1 at home and Seattle is an eh 4-4 on the road
Victory: Cowboys
Chargers @ Ravens: The fact that the Chargers played the Ravens so recently proves big in this matchup. The Chargers will not be surprised by Lamar Jackson and the way the Ravens play offense and defense. The Ravens D will hold up but I don't think their offense will. Gimme the Bolts.
Victory: Chargers
Eagles @ Bears: This one is similar to the late game on Saturday. And like the late game on Saturday. I am taking the home team. The reason? I saw the Bears on a Sunday Night completely shut down the Rams. I believe they can do the same to an Eagles offense, even with Foles running it. And the Eagles suspect secondary will give up a few plays.
Victory: Bears
There you go. Have fun
