Greg's NFL Picks 2022: Week #9

 I continue to keep myself above average, even though I got burned by a couple of high point spreads last week (including Thursday Night). My current season totals are:

Points: 47-38

Victories: 78-53

Bills (-11) @ Jets: Tough spread and I think Jets keep it close with tough defense, but Bills pull away late.

Points: Bills    Victory: Bills

Dolphins (-4) @ Bears:  Good test for Justin Fields here. I think this could be a relatively high scoring game, but I will side with Miami. If they want to make the playoffs, they have to win this game.

Vikings (-3) @ Commanders: I'm getting the feeling people are still down on Minnesota. They shouldn't be (unless they're in prime time). Skol.

Panthers @ Bengals (-7.5):  Zac Taylorr is feeling some heat. I think he gets it off for one week. I like the Bengals big this week.

Chargers (-3) @ Falcons: UPSET PICK OF THE WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know that I can't trust the Chargers as far as I throw them. And they're coming in banged up (no Keenan Allen or Mike Williams). Falcons coming off an emotional divisional win. I think they seize momentum and ground the Bolts.

Packers (-3.5) @ Lions: If Green Bay loses this, they might as well just cancel their season. I will go with them one more time.

Raiders (-2) @ Jaguars: PICK'EM!  zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Jags

Colts @ Patriots (-6): I know Mac Jones sucks, but the Pats defense should be good enough to hold off a young QB in Sma Ehlinger.

Seahawks @ Cardinals (-2): PICK'EM #2! I love me some Pete Carroll right now. Give me Seattle.

Rams @ Buccaneers (-3): ANOTHER UPSET PICK OF THE WEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First time I've pulled out this gem. I think Brady is done being an elite level QB; he can still be a good QB. And the Rams are coming off the bye and they are healthy. I will take the Rams on the Road.

Titans @ Chiefs (-12.5): Think this spread is way too high. Titans will run the ball and shorten the clock. I will split the difference, taking the Titans with the points.

Ravens (-2.5) @ Saints: PICK'EM #3!  Luckily the spread is low, because I think the Ravens win, but I'm not comfortable with it. 

Victory: Ravens
